Teagle’s Retrievers

We are dedicated to breeding and raising strong, healthy, gorgeous golden retriever pups! We have loved goldens for as long as we can remember, and continue to learn more about this incredible breed every day. Goldens are loving, loyal, playful, and obedient - everything a dog owner could possibly want!

The backstory to our breeding journey began in 2020 when we were looking for a golden retriever puppy to add to our family. It was terribly difficult! Everywhere we turned, there were scammers. We finally found our girl Stella. Living in military housing, we had to get her “fixed.” After our departure from military life, we realized that we wanted goldens to be our way of life, and we wanted to be one more positive production of goldens to squash those pesky scammers!

Our philosophies

One of the main differences between us and other breeders is that we strongly prefer not to ship puppies. We absolutely understand why others do so, but we prefer an in-person interaction. If you are not able to travel to the Montana area to pick up your puppy, we do our absolute best to deliver to you, within the contiguous United States.

Money Stuff

As with most other breeders, we do require a non-refundable deposit of $500 in order to add you to a waiting list. We have a general wait list, wherein each person is notified when pregnancy is confirmed and you may choose whether to go on that specific litter’s waitlist. If you choose to wait for another litter, you will remain on the general wait list with your spot held. If you choose a specific litter’s waitlist but the litter ends up not having enough of your specified gender, you can continue to be on the general waitlist with your original spot held.

Cost for each puppy can vary each year based on industry averages. At this time (2024), the full cost for one of our puppies is $1800, due to this being our first year of litters. ($500 deposit, then $1300 balance at pick up.)
